Review: For so long, I didn’t really put much thought into cleansers and how they would affect my face. I figured everything else I do as far as my skincare routine goes will make up for what the cleanser might lack or the bad stuff it would cause my face. And for the longest, all of the cleansers I seemed to pick up ended up stripping too much of the natural oil on my face. Now I’m usually on the oilier side of a combination skin, but my face ending up too dry after cleansing just seemed a bit much. I bought this from Missha when they first came out because I was starting to run out of the current cleanser I was using. Not a bad price for cleanser (it’s even cheaper if you get their VIP pricing). The consistency of the cleanser is creamy and it lathers easily. The bubbles and lather it creates feels really smooth on the the skin. It doesn’t create a whole lot of bubbles, so that may be a reason why it doesn’t dry out my face too much. I love the scent of this cleanser. It’s light, but the citron scent is very distinctive. This is definitely a cleanser to keep in the “purchase again” list!

Review: For a while after I cut my hair for the new year, I noticed that my hair was drier than normal. It broke easily as I combed through it and it felt like I was losing hair faster than it would grow back. Scared me for a sec, but I realized it was because I had been ironing my hair every day and not doing anything to help replenish the moisture my hair was losing. I came across this after browsing through the Missha website. I needed something to help me get to the free shipping minimum during a big sale event they were having. I was reading through the description and as soon as a I saw that Camellia oil was one of its main ingredients, I didn’t think twice about buying it. Camellia oil is also the main ingredient for Boscia’s Tsubaki Beauty Oil (another product I absolutely love by the way!!!). The folks at Boscia have told me you can use their Tsubaki Beauty Oil for your hair as well, but I hesitated just because of how much it costs per bottle. So, when I saw this I figured it was a good cheaper alternative. And I was not wrong at all!

Now, my hair didn’t get to the point where it was so badly damaged, I had to use an entire bottle in one application but I certainly used a good amount of it the first few times I used it. I found it was easier to apply when my hair was more on the drier side, it made me feel as if my hair absorbed it more when I applied it then vs. when it was still wet/damp. At first I used 10 drops scattered throughout my hair and as time went on I started using less and less. After a few weeks, I started noticing that my hair broke less (not having the flat iron on its hottest setting helped too) and the ends didn’t feel as dry anymore. Now, I cut back the amount I use to 5 drops and it’s still enough to massage through the scalp and hair. If you were to apply this product on your wet hair, don’t worry about it flowing off. The consistency of this product is that of a runny gel, so when it’s applied to the scalp it doesn’t spread off fast. It has a nice floral scent that is very soft.

Overall, I think it is a good value for the price. The bottles are small, but that’s when I can say looks can be deceiving. There is a lot more product in there than one can imagine. One bottle now can last me about 3 weeks and the package has 4 bottles in there as well as the applicator. You might need more product if your hair is longer. I had shoulder length hair (cut into a bob) when I started using this product.

Review: Today is my second day using this mask. So far I have been impressed by the soothing and smooth feeling it gives my skin. When I first used it yesterday, I sprayed the product 10 times and I think that was too much. Today, I tried spraying 8 times and I think that’s the perfect amount for me. After spraying the product, I feel it is absorbed almost immediately. Once it has been completely been absorbed, your skin feels really soft. If you have problems with areas of your face getting too dry in the wintertime, this takes care of it. I think the price was pretty reasonable, the size of the product is pretty good for the price. If you think spraying 8-10 times of this every day will make the product run out fast, you’ll be surprised. In the two days I’ve used this (total of 18 sprays), the bottle still looks full. The product also has a nice, clean scent that is not overpowering.
