Review: Soooo, here is another product I bought on a whim but as you all know my self-proclaimed philosophy for this blog is that products bought on a whim could lead to great discoveries. This falls under that philosophy. I picked it up walking through a local make-up store as I’m always attracted to anything that will help eliminate shine on my face (mostly my T-zone). With the name “Shine Killer” why would one pass it up right?? I used this the very next day and mainly applied it to my T-zone which is the most problematic part of my face during the summer. The gel is clear and once applied to the face, it leaves a matte almost powdery finish. It blends right into your skin and preps it for the next item. It worked pretty well, I found that when I checked my make-up in the middle of the day there was very little to no shine on my T-zone. It lasted throughout the rest of the day, a good 9 hours? Beyond that, I didn’t really test for since I usually take my make-up off as soon as I get home. For primer, I think the price is a bit much especially when the tube is so little and when you press the tube to get some product out it feels like there is even less. Other than that, it pretty much lives up to the name “Shine Killer.”
